Crypto is both a multi-trillion dollar asset class and a transformative technology cutting across industries. As a crypto writer and consultant, I devote my time to participating in and demystifying this seemingly complex but fascinating industry.
I’ve published 500+ pieces on cryptocurrencies, non-fungible tokens (NFTs), decentralised finance (DeFi), decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs), and other issues in Web3. I work as a freelance crypto writer for Decrypt, CoinDesk, and Motherboard (VICE). My work has been referenced in the New York Times, The Guardian and academic journals.
My goal as a crypto writer is to help audiences appreciate this nascent industry and look beyond the hype and the cynicism.
Although I have written plenty of news stories and features, I have recently turned my focus to producing explainers. I write lucid explainers thanks to my day-to-day experiments with crypto. But I also enjoy interviewing experts and analysing data sources.
I’m a graduate of the University of Oxford, where I studied the Internet (literally), and the London School of Economics. Previously, I worked in consulting and public policy in Istanbul, Brussels, London, and Washington, D.C. I am currently based in Oxford.
